                             was raking autumn leaves into a big


                             pile. Dan and Mom smiled. Dan


                             put on his jacket. He grabbed


                             a rake and ran next door.


                                   Later, Mrs. Cook


                             looked at the piles of


                             leaves. “You made a


                             bigger pile than I did,


                             Dan. You’re the best


                             neighbor ever.”
