Earth’s Very Own Moon

The Earth has one moon. The time it takes

to go around Earth is called a month.

The first person to set foot on the

moon was Neil Armstrong. He

and Buzz Aldrin left boot prints

in the moon dust.

Apollo 11 landed on the

moon in 1969. Apollo 11

is a spacecraft. An

astronaut is part of a crew

of a spacecraft.
